Hi there…..I wanted to start this blog because I want to reach people. People who have been abused by priests and people who may be on the verge of being abused and are confused as to what is going on.

I don’t have the power to change the world and I certainly don’t have the power to change all of the problems that are going on within the Catholic Church or to heal all of those who have been wounded by abuse. But I am hoping that with one small voice, I can help bring light into the shadows to begin a wave of change and of healing.

I’m choosing to focus on the abuse of adults because up until recently this group has remained silent and unacknowledged and blatantly misunderstood. I want to delve into the who and the why the where and the how and everything unspoken and hushed up. I want to dissect the rumors and the misconceptions and the guilt and the shame and the blame. I want to ask questions that nobody dare answer.

I also want to help join together and be the voice for those who feel alone and scared.
